As part of the re-positioning of D365HR, Microsoft published a new video about the product. The focus is on engaging employees and “pro-actively enrich their careers”.
Employees have a self-service workspace for skills and competencies management. HR professionals track employee development and a micro and macro level, including evaluation of broad skills needs and gaps. They can design performance review templates to be used by managers. Employees are then provided with training based on the company’s needs, and their participation can be tracked within the system. HR pros can also use the system to search for internal candidates for open positions.

Synergy Software Systems offers a GCC localized Payroll for Dynamics 365, and for Ax 2012. There is also a HR Admin module, that already provides many self service workflows required for this market, and extensive SSRS reports and Power BI analysis.
